Dr Milton Maltz MD MPhil (Cardiology)

Dr Milton Maltz is our Medical Director and Senior Private GP who has over 18 years of experience in the private sector. He has a deep understanding of the demand from the UK population for private primary medical care and how to best serve this demand. Dr Maltz graduated in 1979 from the Federal University of Medicine of Porto Alegre – Brazil and has a Fellowship in Internal Medicine in Brazil, Diploma in General Medicine, from the renowned St. Bartholomew’s Hospital, London. He also has a Master from the University of London. Dr Maltz was a Research Registrar at St. Bartholomew’s Hospital (1983-1992) and a previous Research Fellowship at the Royal Free Hospital. He presented numerous papers on all aspects of Cardiology at major conferences worldwide. Dr Maltz was awarded by the Brazilian Government for his extraordinary work to promote the image of Brazil abroad. He received the following medals: Order of Cruzeiro do Sul (1998) Order of Pacificador (1999) Order of Santos Dummont (2001) Dr Maltz works in partnership with experienced and renowned physicians and specialists from leading University Hospitals in London.

Mrs Renomee Porten – Senior Cardiac Physiologist

Renomee is our Senior Cardiac Physiologist and has been working with us since 2009. She has great expertise in echocardiograms and carotid dopplers. She holds a National Diploma in Clinical Technology and a Bachelor degree in Clinical Technology from the ML Sultan Technikon in Natal, South Africa. She is an accredited member of the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) and a member of the Registration Council for Clinical Physiologists. She also regularly teaches BSE recognised echo courses, which are attended by clinical physiologists, cardiac registrars and anaesthetists based in ITU.
